Just a couple of simple exercises I did in Houdini to animate. I've been spending the last while trying to translate the things I learn about animating in Maya to Houdini to see how well they will understand each other. So far it's not so bad, but it gets weirder with each step. Anyway, here's a bouncing ball:

Cool chain! Did you have to animate the whole thing, or is every link parented?
It's actually done with gravity and dynamics. You tweak the settings for weight and stuff to make the collision look proper. Thanks!
The chain is really nice. The ball I think squashes and stretches a bit too much considering how short the bounce is. Maybe it would work better if the bounce was higher. The chain works well though
