Goodbye to gouache...?

In the 1.5 years I got to know gouache, there's still so much about it I don't know, so much we could learn about each other...oh well, time to move on, I guess. Here are the tonal studies and colour thumbnails for my final painting assignment for the semester. Maybe gouache and I will work with each other again in the future...

More progress on my background design stuff. These are simple colour ideas I had for my design that I'll decide from for the final look. Colour is faded, but they gave me a few ideas. Someday we'll get along, gouache...

As the painting is, I kinda liked it. I'll probably come back to it later and add to it, but given the time I have to do my other stuff, I'll settle with this stuff for now. Gouache on Peterboro 79 illustration board.
